Our story

Next Edge Academy opened in 2008 with a clear goal: to bring high-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, and MMA coaching together under one roof in Sioux Falls.
Our coaching staff brings proven experience and respected credentials, including the highest-ranking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt in South Dakota, two of the highest-rated USA Boxing coaches in the country (USA Boxing Gold Level Coaches), and Muay Thai coaches who have helped develop multiple national champions.
We use that experience to create structured, practical training that works not only for competitive athletes, but also for everyday people who want to learn, improve, and become more capable.
